What is Geothermal Energy?
There are two types of geothermal energy: high grade and low-grade. High-grade
geothermal energy is the heat of the earth’s pressure that turns water into stream.
Old Faithful at Yellow Stone National Park is an excellent example. Low-grade geothermal
energy is the heat within the earth’s crust. This heat is actually stored solar energy.
S&B Geothermal sells and installs ground source heat pump systems that tap into this
low-grade geothermal energy to deliver significant energy savings when heating, cooling
and making hot water.
